Beautiful :)
I am glad you like it, Kaolin!
That is indeed a very nice sight, Zoran. Ah, to have such troubles, that there is no longer enough space on your wall because of too many foreign editions… :)
I have either to move to a bigger study, Jason, or instruct my future publishers to bring out my books without any covers. Since moving in my age could be rather hazardous, I see no real alternative to coverless books. Don’t be too shocked. Isn’t it well known that a book shouldn’t be judged by its cover…?
Perhaps digitizing them and having the same mosaic only with digital picture frames… which can then cycle through them all. :) Though they’re really something, physically.
Perhaps the ceiling?
I did consider the ceiling, Kaolin. But it wouldn’t be very polite to make my guests keep looking above, would it? I am afraid something more ingenious and less harmful is required here. Any other suggestion?
Perhaps strung from the ceiling in such a manner as they could be slid over? Though I’m tickled by “coverless”. Or perhaps they could reuse covers (by language root?). I’m perhapsing an awful lot.
I fear your actual bookshelves may have to go. ;)
“I fear your actual bookshelves may have to go. ;)”
I was afraid you might eventually suggest this ultimate solution. Oh, well, if there is no alternative, my bookshelves, along with my books, should go, then. But at least I’ll have rather colorful walls…
